 Janis Sharp talks on BBC breakfast television with Jago Russell of Fair Trials International after a historic cross party debate in the house of commons which unanimously voted to demand that changes be made to the US/UK extradition treaty to give British People equal rights to Americans. At present if an American Citizen were to be extradited they have the right to contest the evidence in a court of law No evidence is required to extradite a British Citizen to America and they therefore have nothing to be able to contest. American nationals have the right to be tried only in America. British have no such right. The US Ambasador to the Britain Louis Susman said that this situation is equal and fair.
